Due to substantial increases recently in the price of diesel fuel, F&M have advised of an increase in the fuel levy effective from 15th November 2021 of 3%.
This reflects the advice from the Victorian Transport Association on the movement of diesel fuel prices over the recent period.
Stevedores are also increasing their landside handling charges from 1st January 2022 and I will advise as soon as fully known.
Also please note that due to the continual industrial dispute and peak season volumes all major ports are experiencing delays with vessel operations as per below map.
Although the MUA have suspended the industrial action at the moment there is a backlog that will take time to clear.
